The visit saw police officers and sniffer dogs present on campus for a day dedicated to raising awareness and promoting prevention.The joint initiative, aimed at fostering a safe and drug-free environment within the college community, is part of both institutions’ commitment to student welfare. By engaging students directly and providing them with essential information, resources, and support, the partnership seeks to empower young individuals to make informed choices and steer clear of the risks associated with substance abuse.

The joint initiative enables students to have the opportunity to interact with police officers and their canine companions, gaining valuable insights into the methods employed in drug detection and law enforcement. Additionally, educational sessions have been held to discuss the various forms of substance misuse, its impact on individuals and communities, and avenues for seeking help and support.
